Post 8: ~Health must be a guaranteed right~

Hello everyone!
These days, through different strikes and interventions, deep changes are sought in our country after years of injustices, abuses, violence, inequality, etc. With all the violence exerted by the military, cops, and in general, the government, the false democracy, in which we have been living all these years after the dictatorship, comes to light.
Chile needs many changes, one of them is related to health. Nowadays, health coverage is segregated according to the capacity to pay or the risk of people getting sick. If you do not have money to pay for a private consultation, you have to wait for months and months to be treated at a public hospital, and then months and months to get yourself tested, to have your exams checked, and so on. If a person has a serious undetected disease, how is he or she expected to receive timely treatment with all the above? Some people have money to pay for private consultations. Unfortunately, there are people who do not have money to get a medical checkup, and finally, some others who do not have money and cannot find any other way to get medical treatment but getting into debt to do so, is this fair?
In Chile, health is not prioritized (nor does it prioritize education, among many other things), the budget spent on health is very low, infrastructure is forgotten as well as resources, and so on; and not to mention mental health. For example, a psychological treatment at private establishments may take place once a week, and at public ones, there is so much demand that many times a constant rhythm in therapy cannot be followed.
With all this, we see how the most hardworking people, the citizens who put a lot of effort into their jobs, are also the individuals who do not have time or resources to go to the doctor. When they get sick and go to the emergency room of a public hospital, they are misdiagnosed because of the enormous demand that exists in these places full of stress and chaos, which finally means that there is little space or time to think about their mental health because patients see how nobody gives priority to their needs.
This is not fair, it is not dignified, it is corrupt and inhuman.
The right to health must be guaranteed in the constitution.
Until dignity becomes a custom!

Post 7: ~Beautiful Movies~

Hi everyone!
Today, this post is free, and I would like to write a little about movies :)
I like movies! I like to connect with their stories and go through all kinds of emotions. I cry a lot hahaha, my zodiac sign is cancer, so for the ones who believe in those things, you can know me a little better by reading about it on the internet.
A film that causes me many emotions and memories is "Ice Age" (the first one). I like this movie because it takes me to my childhood. I could watch it many times and I would never get bored of it.
I think it is a very good movie for children, it is not violent, it shows very beautiful landscapes and it causes many emotions. It is also very tender, and I love tender films hahaha.
About movies in general, I do not have a favorite movie gender, but there is one that I do not like: horror. I've never watched many horror movies, but a few years ago, I watched one that made me not want to see more horror movies.
The last movies I watched were "Your name" (it is a Japanese animation) and "Lion" (I could say so many things about this one, it's a very beautiful and exciting movie). I have seen these movies so many times and I highly recommend them, they are beautiful and full of emotions.
I must say that "Lion" has become my favorite. If you have not seen this one and you have little time, I swear that you will not regret watching it, your time will be well spent hahaha.

Well, I send you strength for the rest of the semester, bye!

Post 6: My Post Graduate Studies

Hi everyone! Today I will write about my Post Graduate Studies.
Well. the truth is that I have not thought much about postgraduate studies, it is difficult to decide. I have many ideas in my head, but I don't know which of those ideas I want to follow.
I like the area of clinical psychology because I like psychotherapy, but I don't know if I want to specialize in children and adolescents or adults. I like both areas, I feel that both are very important, and I have always been passionate about it.
Maybe I could do postgraduate studies at Universidad de Chile. At the same time, I would like to do an intensive English course because, in order to do a master's or doctorate program, many aspects are considered when students are chosen, for example, if you know another language. Also, in psychology, most of the information is in English, and I don't want the language to be an impediment to my learning and my future as a psychologist.
I also have the idea of doing postgraduate studies in Spain, leaving my "comfort zone" and facing new challenges. But, I insist, I still don't have anything clear, they are just ideas.
Something that I am sure of is that I am interested in further internalizing the theme of inclusion and taking advantage of all the opportunities that come up around the subject (courses, seminars, diplomas, etc.)... I have already talked about this in previous posts hahaha.
Well, I will keep thinking about my future studies. I hope to discover more things that I love :D

Post 5: My future Job

Hello guys! Today I will write about my future job.
I'm already in my fourth year of psychology, and I have very little time left to start working.
I have always been interested in having a job in the area of clinical psychology, I want to do psychotherapy (I also like the area of community psychology, and I would like to incorporate part of this area into my work as a therapist; because networks are a fundamental part of life of people), but I still can't decide if I want to specialize in psychotherapy with children and adolescents, or with adults.
I've always been interested in working with adults, but now I can't decide. I had the experience of working with a teenager in a school, and it was a very nice and enriching experience, it was the first time I could visualize myself as a psychologist in the future.
I think that paying attention to childhood problems is very important and having more subjects that show this. I have opened a world of knowledge that interests me to put into practice in my future work. In addition, I am very interested in the subject of inclusion, not only in education but in life in general, and that is why I would also like to be able to carry out or be part of a project on the subject because it is necessary to create firmer bases on this and move towards a more inclusive society without discrimination.

I wish you a beautiful week!

Post 4: A fascinating animal ~The Cat~

Hi guys!
Today I will write about the most beautiful animal in the world: The Cat!!!
Cats are very cute and interesting animals. I like them when they purr and lick because they show a lot of affection - the tongue of the cats is rough; it also helps them stay clean.
The kittens have a very cute and soft fur, I think they are perfect. When they are little, they play a lot, and when they grow, they become lazier, and they sleep a lot. I envy them because they sleep so much, they just eat, sleep, and play a little. A cat’s life is amazing!
Also, they are good at climbing hahaha. Sometimes you can find them on the roof of the house, on top of a piece of furniture or climbing the curtains. Many people believe that dogs are better because they can be more loving, but personally, I prefer cats. I like them because of how tiny they are, and they also smell good.
When I was a child, I had many kittens, but they all had a tragic end, they were very playful and crazy. One of them was hit by a kitten, another kitten got drowned and another kitten simply left, maybe she was sick and went to die somewhere, I could never find her. Until “Princesa” arrived, my kitten, the one I've had for more than 10 years. I love her and although she isn't very playful, I have a lot of fun with her.

Post 3: The Internet

Hello everyone! Today I will write about the internet.
When I was a child and lived in Puerto Montt, there was a computer in the house, but with my brother we only used it to watch movies and play sometimes, we were not interested in using the internet, we always preferred to play outside with toys, etc.
After a few years, at school, I had classes in the computer lab, and when I had free time, I looked for games, only that hahaha (my classmates did other things, for example, using online chats).
When I was in puberty I started using the internet, and from that moment I have always used the internet in my life.
At first, I used Facebook, Messenger, etc. Today, the social networks that I use the most are Instagram and WhatsApp to communicate with my family and friends. I also use the internet to listen to music, watch movies and, obviously, to study.
I think that today the internet is an important part of my life, sometimes too important, and I don't like that. Sometimes I would like to return to those times when the internet did not exist or was not massive. Nevertheless, the internet is very useful, we can communicate constantly regardless of distances and studying is much easier.
I appreciate having enjoyed a childhood without the internet. I had a great time and I was very happy; I have many beautiful memories outside a computer or cell phone screen. I think that it was very important for me, considering that today children are born with early access to the internet and they cannot live without it.

Post 2: ~Magic vacations~

Hi guys! Today I will write about one of my best vacations. I don't remember what year it was; I just remember that I was in puberty / adolescence.

I am from Chiloé, and I remember that those holidays began in that beautiful archipelago, I was visiting beautiful landscapes of the area, for example, the Tocoihue waterfalls, a place full of magic that is often related to typical myths and legends of the island, and it is special location to connect with nature. I visited this place with friends and family, twice.

Then, together with my brother, cousin, and uncle -my dad's brother- we visited an uncle who lives in the Araucanía region, and with him and his girlfriend, we visited different places, staying a few days in a campsite that was located close to a shore of the beach in Lican Ray. I really enjoyed all these moments, being at sea at any time of the day and night, getting around by kayak, watching that landscape, going to craft fairs, etc. All those experiences were beautiful.
I liked these vacations a lot because I got very close to my family and I was dazzled by the landscapes (I love nature). Also, when I returned to the island, I was able to spend the rest of the vacation with my mother and go to "Muelle de las Almas". All this filled my heart and soul.

I leave a picture of "Muelle de las almas", it is magical. Well, everything was wonderful :D Greetings to all!
